Stay home and help the NHS
During the first lockdown we turned the studio over to making NHS uniforms, and sent them to the hospital free of charge.
In spring 2020, while everyone who could was staying at home to protect the NHS, we did the one useful thing a sewing studio could do: we made uniforms for NHS hospital staff and sent them to the hospital free of charge.
It was hard work, and it was work we were glad to do. We made them with the same care as anything else that leaves the studio, and we hope they lasted.
A big thank you to the NHS, and to all the key workers who kept going through it.
