Names, logos, badges and monograms stitched in the studio. One polo shirt or two hundred — we do not have a minimum that rules out small jobs.
Most embroidery firms want a hundred units before they will set a machine up. We will do one. That suits local businesses kitting out a handful of staff, clubs with a dozen members, and anyone who wants a single initial on a dressing gown.
Workwear and uniforms
Company logos on polo shirts, fleeces, softshells, aprons, tabards and hi-vis. Staff names on the chest or sleeve. We can supply the garments or decorate stock you have already bought. If the uniform also needs altering to fit, that happens in the same building on the same visit — see alterations.
Schools, clubs and teams
School uniform name tapes and badges, PE kit, leavers' hoodies, club crests, team numbers and sports bags. Sensible per-item pricing on small batches rather than a setup fee that makes twenty pieces uneconomic.
Personal and gifts
Monograms on shirts, robes and towels. Names on christening gowns and baby blankets. Wedding-party embroidery on jackets and bags. Restoration of worn embroidery on a garment you want to keep.
Badges, patches and appliqué
Applying supplied badges and patches, making appliqué motifs, and re-attaching military, scouting and uniform insignia in the correct position. Bring the regulations or the diagram if placement matters — we would rather check than guess.
Artwork
Send a logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) if you have one. A high-resolution PNG or JPEG will usually do. Very fine detail and small lettering do not survive being stitched, so we will tell you if a logo needs simplifying and what it will look like at the size you want.
Things people ask
Is there a minimum order?
No. We will embroider a single garment. Per-item cost falls as quantity rises, but small jobs are genuinely welcome.
Can you embroider garments I supply?
Yes. Bring them in. We will check the fabric is suitable — some technical and waterproof fabrics should not be needle-punched, and we will say so before starting.
What file format do you need for a logo?
A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best. A high-resolution PNG or JPEG usually works. If you only have a small web image we can often redraw it.
How long does it take?
Small jobs are often a few days. Larger runs depend on quantity and whether we are supplying the garments. Tell us your deadline when you enquire.
Do you do printing as well as embroidery?
Embroidery is what we do in-house. For large print runs we can advise on what suits your artwork and quantity — ring and ask.
Can you add names to school uniform?
Yes, including name tapes and badges, and we can take up sleeves and hems at the same time.
