Cotton and canvas totes cut and sewn in our own studio, with your logo embroidered or printed. Low minimums, a sample before anything goes into production.
A tote is a simple object made badly by most people who sell them. The handles pull out, the seams fray inside, the cotton is thin enough to see through. None of that costs much to get right — it is a question of whether the person making it knows how to bar-tack a handle and finish a seam.
What we make
Standard shoppers, long-handle shoulder totes, gusseted boat bags, drawstring bags and zipped versions. Natural cotton, heavier canvas, dyed cloth, recycled and organic cotton where you want it. Inside pockets, base gussets, contrast handles, webbing straps and reinforced corners are all available.
Construction that lasts
Handles bar-tacked rather than straight-stitched, so they do not tear out of the body on the first heavy load. Seams overlocked or bound inside. Webbing handles carried down the side of the bag rather than stitched only to the top edge. These are the details that separate a tote someone keeps from one that ends up in a drawer.
Your logo
Embroidery is done here in the studio and gives a considerably better perceived value than a print. For large single-colour artwork, or very large runs, printing may suit better and we will say so. Send vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) where you can.

What is the minimum order for tote bags?
Much lower than an importer will offer. The economics depend on the fabric and the artwork setup, so tell us your quantity and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes, and you should. We make one, you approve it, then we cut the run.
What fabrics can you use?
Cotton, heavier canvas, dyed cloth, and recycled or organic cotton. If you need a specific weight or certification, say so at enquiry stage.
Embroidery or print?
Embroidery is done in-house and looks more expensive, which matters if you are selling the bag. Print suits large flat artwork and very high volumes. We will advise on which fits your design.
How long do they take?
It depends on quantity and whether we are sourcing the cloth. We give a real date when we quote.
Are they made in the UK?
Yes, in Northfleet, Kent. You are welcome to visit and watch a run being cut.
