Off-the-peg uniform arrives in sizes that fit roughly half a team. The usual result is staff in clothes that are too long in the sleeve or too big through the body, which undoes the point of having a uniform at all.
Two ways we work
Made from scratch — we pattern and make the garment to your specification, which makes sense when you want something distinctive or when nothing off the shelf suits the job. Bought-in and adapted — you buy stock garments, we alter them to fit each member of staff and embroider them. This is usually the cheaper route and it is what most local businesses choose.

Tunics
Beauty and salon tunics, clinical and dental tunics, therapy and massage wear, and care-home tunics. We make them to your own pattern and colours, or buy in stock tunics and alter them to fit each member of staff with your logo embroidered on. Tunics are the item people most often wear in the wrong size, because they are bought by the box and handed out — a half hour of alteration each transforms how a team looks.
Fitting a whole team
Bring your staff to the studio, or send the garments with each person's measurements. We alter, embroider, label by name and return them ready to wear. When somebody joins, send us one garment rather than reordering a batch.
Ongoing repairs
Uniform fails at zips, pockets and seams long before the cloth wears out. We repair rather than replace, which over a couple of years is a material saving on a uniform budget.
Things buyers ask
Do we have to buy the garments from you?
No. Many customers buy stock garments themselves and we alter and embroider them. That is usually the cheaper route, and we will tell you if it is the right one for your case.
Can you fit a whole team?
Yes. Bring staff to the studio, or send garments with measurements. We return them altered, embroidered and labelled by name.
What happens when someone new joins?
Send us the one garment. You do not need to reorder a batch to get a single new starter kitted out.
Can you add both a logo and staff names?
Yes, and names add very little to the cost.
Do you handle repairs to existing uniform?
Yes — zips, pockets, seams and hems. Repairing is considerably cheaper than replacing and we can do it in batches.
What is the minimum order?
Low. Kitting out a handful of staff is normal work for us.
