Xenia Telunts
A designer whose collections are built around sustainability — zero-waste cutting, natural dyes, up-cycled and organic cloth.
Pattern · Sampling
Xenia Telunts designs collections that explore sustainability in practice: zero-waste pattern cutting, natural dyeing, up-cycled textiles and organic fabric. The aim is to use minimal resources and the simplest means to make clothes that last — considered for the long term, not for a season, in the hope they will be worn for generations.
Our part sits at the front of the process: pattern cutting and sampling, while a design is still being resolved.
The work
Outerwear, mostly — an oversized trench, a layered jacket over wide cropped trousers, a quilted longline coat. Outerwear depends on structure that does not show: interlinings, a shoulder that holds its shape through wear, and a lining that lets the coat move. Zero-waste cutting adds a further discipline, because every piece of the pattern has to earn its place on the cloth; there are no offcuts to hide compromises in.
